Our services

What each visit covers, written for parents. Fees and insurance are explained on our how fees work page.

Growth checks

At each checkup the dentist looks at how teeth are coming in and how the jaws are growing, and tells you what to watch for. We usually see children every six months, and the dentist decides what schedule fits yours.

Gentle cleanings

Our hygienists clean at your child's pace, explain what each tool does before they use it, and let your child pick a flavor of polish. Cleanings include a talk about brushing at home.

Sealants

A thin coating on the chewing surfaces of back teeth, when the dentist decides your child's teeth would benefit. It goes on without a needle and helps keep food and bacteria out of the grooves. The dentist explains it first and answers your child's questions.

Early bite checks

We look at spacing and bite at checkups. When a child may benefit from an orthodontist's opinion, we say so and refer you; we don't start braces ourselves. The decision about when to start, and with whom, is yours.
